The Strassen Speech Therapy Centre visits the ACL

At the Road Service store, the pupils discovered the equipment used every day by the patrol officers. They lifted a battery to gauge its weight and learned the differences between a car battery and a motorcycle battery. The fully equipped breakdown van attracted particular interest, and everyone had the chance to climb aboard. Flavio also showed them a vehicle’s engine compartment and explained how to check the oil level.

At Clubmobil, the children explored a nine-seater Ford Tourneo and discovered its interior layout. At the Diagnostic Center, it was the historic vehicles parked outside that caught their attention. The visit ended at the Shop with an interactive exchange about road maps and different countries, in which the pupils took part enthusiastically.

This morning gave the children a concrete and enjoyable insight into the variety of the ACL’s professions and services. It was already the second visit by the Centre de Logopédie de Strassen: the educators expressed their wish to return next year, highlighting how enriching and instructive the experience had been for the children.
