ACL renews its Clubmobil fleet

The Automobile Club du Luxembourg (ACL) has taken delivery of 43 Peugeot 2008s for its ACL Clubmobil replacement vehicle fleet. The delivery comes at just the right time, ahead of a period that traditionally sees high demand.

Supplied by Peugeot Car Avenue, the 43 Peugeot 2008s replace part of ACL Clubmobil’s fleet of around 230 vehicles. Thanks to this regular renewal, ACL members and business customers can count on recent vehicles that meet the latest environmental standards and are equipped with up-to-date safety technology.

By managing our own fleet, we keep control of the quality of service, from the first call to the handover of the keys. Controlling the entire assistance chain

ACL Clubmobil keeps the ACL’s 190,000 members and its business customers on the move when their vehicle is off the road, whether after a breakdown or an accident. The service works in partnership with leasing companies operating in Luxembourg, including Arval, Athlon, Ayvens and Leasys. By continuing to invest in its own fleet, the ACL remains one of the last assistance providers in Europe to handle the entire service chain itself, from taking calls and assistance requests, through roadside intervention with its own breakdown trucks, to providing a replacement vehicle. This integrated model gives members a fast, high-quality and seamless service, with a single point of contact from start to finish. The approach is paying off. According to the ACL’s latest satisfaction survey, carried out in 2025, 98% of members say they are satisfied with the service.

The ACL's figures bear this out. During the summer period of 2025 alone (July and August), the club handled more than 6,200 assistance cases, nearly 1,000 of them from abroad. Topping the list of incidents: the flat 12 V battery (23.6%), tyre problems (14.9%) and engine faults, overheating or cooling issues (11%), three categories that are largely avoidable through preventive maintenance.
