The ACL (Automobile Club du Luxembourg), which works round the clock every day to support the mobility needs of its more than 191,000 members, is looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual to manage a wide range of communication projects from start to finish on behalf of the ACL Marketing & Communications team.

The successful candidate will be a versatile project manager capable of quickly familiarising themselves with a project, coordinating internal and external stakeholders, and delivering effective projects on time. Internal communications, employer branding and the annual report form the core of the role, around which other cross-functional communication projects are organised depending on the team’s priorities.

You will report to the Head of Marketing & Communications.

 

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  1. Management of communication projects

The project manager acts as the point of contact and coordinator for all communication projects entrusted to them. They take full responsibility for project management:

  • Analysing requirements, drafting the brief or developing it in collaboration with the client.
  • Planning project phases, resources and deadlines.
  • Coordinating internal stakeholders (departments, management, HR, IT…) and external service providers.
  • Monitoring the budget and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Creating or overseeing the production of content (texts, imagery, video formats, print and digital media).
  • Managing feedback, approvals and corrections through to the final version.
  • Preparing a project review and submitting suggestions for improvement.
  1. Internal Communication

As the guarantor of the flow of information within the ACL:

  • Contributing to the definition and updating of the internal communication strategy.
  • Creating and/or coordinating content and media for internal communication (newsletters, intranet, editorial content, video formats, etc.).
  • Organising internal events: town hall meetings, meetings between management and staff, project communication.
  • Supporting change processes by structuring communication around organisational changes or strategic projects.
  • Measuring the impact of initiatives, analysing feedback and proposing continuous improvements.
  • Monitoring best practices in internal communication.
  1. Employer brand

In close collaboration with the HR department:

  • Contributing to the employer brand strategy in line with the ACL’s identity and mission statement.
  • Creating content and initiatives that highlight the ACL as an employer: Staff testimonials, LinkedIn content, recruitment materials, onboarding graphics…
  • Ensuring the consistency of the employer brand across all touchpoints (job advertisements, social media, HR documents).
  • Highlighting the roles, projects and contributions of staff in serving members.
  • Monitoring trends in HR and employer communications.
  1. Annual Report (key recurring project)

The Annual Report is a key project for shaping the ACL’s image. The role holder is responsible for overall management:

  • Drawing up the production schedule and coordinating content creation across all departments.
  • Drafting, structuring and designing content in line with editorial guidelines.
  • Maintaining relationships with service providers (graphic design agency, printers).
  • Ensuring internal approvals and on-time delivery.

 

Your profile:

Education & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Communication, Marketing or a comparable field.
  • 3 to 6 years’ experience in communications with proven experience in project management.
  • Experience in internal communications or employer branding is a real plus.

Key skills

  • Project management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines and set priorities.
  • Editorial skills: Excellent language skills in the four national languages
  • Editorial flair & aesthetics: Ability to create clear, engaging content that aligns with the brand identity.
  • Coordination: Confidence in liaising with various stakeholders (management, HR, service providers, agencies).
  • Tools: Knowledge of design tools (Canva, Adobe), a CMS/intranet and AI tools is an advantage.

Personal qualities

  • Independent and proactive: Ability to take charge of a project without waiting for every step to be dictated.
  • Meticulous and organised: able to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • Curious and adaptable: willing to delve into various topics depending on the projects assigned.
  • Strong communicator: confident in written and spoken expression, in both formal and informal contexts.
