Members of the public were, as always invited to vote for their favourite car from a selection of a hundred or so models divided into 10 categories. A total of 32,651 votes were cast this year - up 21.5% on the last time the vote was held. In the run-up to the ceremony, a conference on the issue of electromobility in the context of the war in Ukraine and the effects of the health crisis was held. Three experts from Aral (Romain Hoffmann), Goodyear (Romain Hansen) and Diego were invited to discuss the issues at hand. The following topics were notably discussed:
