On 4 October, the Coque in Kirchberg hosted GO electric day, organised by the Klima-Agence in partnership with the Automobile Club du Luxembourg (ACL). ACL experts provided 352 individual consultations on site.
Following a successful first edition in 2025, Klima-Agence and ACL are bringing GO electric day back to the Coque on Sunday, 4 October. From 9 am to 5 pm, visitors can test electric vehicles, explore the latest technologies and get practical answers to their questions.
Between 1 July and 31 August, ACL teams responded to almost 6,000 call-outs to help members in difficulty on the road. The results confirm the club's central role in summer mobility for people in Luxembourg, both at home and abroad.
More than 120,000 pupils return to the classroom from 15 September, including 64,255 in primary education alone. That means plenty of vulnerable young pedestrians and cyclists around school gates, where everyone needs to take extra care.
On Sunday, 11 Octobre, ACL Maison du Motard invites all motorcycle enthusiasts to join its traditional End of Season Tour. A great opportunity to head out for one last ride together, meet fellow bikers and round off the season in a relaxed atmosphere.
Anyone driving an electric vehicle knows the situation: sometimes charging is quick and straightforward, while at other times it takes multiple charging cards, different apps or simply a bit of patience.
In Italy, the "Zone a traffico limitato" (ZTL) can prove expensive for tourists. And contrary to what one might think, driving an electric car or a rental car is no free pass.
The ACL's figures bear this out. During the summer period of 2025 alone (July and August), the club handled more than 6,200 assistance cases, nearly 1,000 of them from abroad. Topping the list of incidents: the flat 12 V battery (23.6%), tyre problems (14.9%) and engine faults, overheating or cooling issues (11%), three categories that are largely avoidable through preventive maintenance.
The ACL recently welcomed a class from the Centre de Logopédie de Strassen to its premises for a morning dedicated to discovering the club’s professions and services.
The Automobile Club of Luxembourg (ACL) held its Annual General Meeting on 11 June and presented the results for the 2025 financial year. With nearly 191,000 members, ACL remains the country’s leading mobility organisation and continues to evolve to meet the needs of increasingly diverse, connected and sustainable mobility.
This Saturday, thousands of cycling enthusiasts will gather in Mondorf-les-Bains for the Schleck Gran Fondo 2026. Once again, ACL will be part of the event as Technical Partner, supporting ambitious amateur riders and international participants throughout the day.
Porsche, Jaguar, Alfa Romeo, Triumph, MG, Austin Healey, Mercedes, Corvette and Volkswagen: the participating crews offered a true journey through the decades, turning Luxembourg’s roads into a rolling open-air museum.
As Mondorf-les-Bains once again becomes a meeting point for the international cycling community at the end of May, young riders will also be part of the action: the ACL Kids Race is back.
With the summer holidays approaching, the Luxembourg police are organising a two-day awareness campaign on the risks associated with overloading caravans, motorhomes and other recreational vehicles. The aim is to prevent road accidents and remind people of the most important safety and legal regulations.
