Strengthening links

On 28 June, the Minister for Consumer Protection, Martine Hansen (CSV), met Miriam Eisenmenger, CEO of the Automobile Club Luxembourg (ACL).

During her morning visit, the minister was able to tour the club’s facilities in Bertrange and familiarise herself with the ACL’s many services. Martine Hansen also held talks with Miriam Eisenmenger to identify areas for future collaboration, in a mutual desire to strengthen the links between her ministry and the ACL.

“Recognised for defending the interests of motorists, the ACL is a key player for the Consumer Protection Directorate. The aim of this meeting was to strengthen the links between the Consumer Protection Directorate and the ACL and to promote closer collaboration between the two institutions”, said the Ministry in a press release.

Miriam Eisenmenger added: “We had the opportunity to discuss current and future projects. We had the opportunity to discuss key issues such as information and neutral advice from ACL, road safety and the harmonious cohabitation of different road users. We would like to extend our warmest thanks to the Minister for these constructive and inspiring discussions. Her vision and commitment have strengthened our determination to innovate and make a positive contribution to the future of mobility.
