Kannersëtzbazar back in October
The Automobile Club du Luxembourg (ACL) is holding another edition of the ACL Kannersëtzbazar, the sustainable, community-minded event that gives second-hand child car seats and booster seats a second life. It takes place on Saturday 17 October 2026 at the ACL premises in Bertrange and Ingeldorf.

The ACL Kannersëtzbazar has become a fixture for families: the ideal chance to find an extra seat for a second car or for the grandparents’ car, or simply a more affordable way to get equipped. At previous editions, close to 60 per cent of the seats found a buyer. Prices typically ranged from 50 to 150 euros for standard models, with higher prices for recent ones.
How to sell a seat
- Dropping off a seat is free and open to ACL members only (no commission is charged).
- Seats can be dropped off from 12 to 14 October 2026, from 9am to 5pm, in Bertrange (54, route de Longwy – max. 300 seats) and in Ingeldorf (34, route d’Ettelbruck – max. 50 seats).
- Two seats maximum per member.
- Seats must be clean, in good condition and compliant with ECE R44/03, ECE R44/04 or R129 (i-Size).
- Owners set their own price.
- An ACL membership card is required (physical card or via the myACL app).
Unsold seats can be collected between 21 and 28 October 2026 from the original drop-off point.
How to buy a seat
The seats on offer can be viewed on 17 October 2026, from 9am to 1pm, in Bertrange and Ingeldorf.
- Cash payment only.
- Prices are fixed and set by the sellers.
The ACL acts as an intermediary, and its staff will be on site to answer questions about safety and to advise buyers. The results of the comparative child seat tests published in previous years are also available on site and in “Autotouring” magazine.
