The ACL’s positions

The ACL’s positions

The ACL defends its members’ interests

The ACL is committed to upholding the rights and interests of its members when it comes to all aspects of mobility.

Its statutes outline the ACL’s mission as “performing or facilitating a variety of motoring-related initiatives relating to road traffic, mobility, road safety and tourism”, whilst the ACL’s mission includes guaranteeing and promoting access to mobility, the quality thereof, the free choice of means of transport and the safety of its members. Mobility is a strategic factor in both the economic and social development of the country. It should be efficient, accessible, sustainable and safe, and it is important that we invest not only in infrastructure but also in vehicles and users if this is to be the case.

The ACL is actively committed to defend its members’ interests and the concept of sustainable automobility at the public authorities and other players in the field of mobility.
The ACL also plays an active role in awareness campaigns aimed at improving road safety and supports programmes & campaigns instigated by the Ministry for Sustainable Development and Infrastructure, La Sécurité Routière, the Grand-Ducal Police and the International Motoring Federation (FIA).
