For more than 10 years, Ycare has been navigating between pop and French chanson, writing songs for himself as well as for many talented artists (Zaz, Nolwenn Leroy, Kids United, Joyce Jonathan, Amel Bent, Garou, Lilian Renaud, Arcadian, Patrick Fiori, Charlie Boisseau, and even… Mireille Mathieu).

In 2022, Ycare returned with the album Des millions d’années, followed in 2023 by Nos futurs, an album featuring exceptional duets with artists such as Patrick Bruel, Mentissa, Anne Sila and Garou.

After an extraordinary year, Ycare closes 2024 with the release of his deeply moving novel “Tout le monde naît avec des ailes” (Ed. Plons), as well as a new single, “Le Fou et le roi.” A touching adaptation of Coldplay’s famous song “Viva la Vida,” this captivating and uplifting track delivers a powerful message of resilience, where the figures of the “fool” and the “king” embody downfall, redemption and forgiveness. With this song, Ycare pays tribute to the light that has been passed on to him, staying true to the original spirit of the work — not through a literal translation, but by preserving its essence.
