Accounting Department Manager - M/F - CDI - Full Time
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, and working closely with cross-functional departments
Your main responsibilities and missions are as follows:
- Ensure compliance with accounting and tax deadlines for various entities of ACL.
- Plan, coordinate, and review all periodic accounting closures.
- Develop and oversee the application of accounting procedures within the organization (e.g., purchases).
- Prepare annual accounts for different entities and manage audits (statutory, ISO, etc.).
- Review and file all accounting, tax, STATEC declarations, etc.
- Actively monitor the recovery of member and client receivables.
- Supervise and develop the Accounting team (4 Accountants + 1 Receivable Collection Officer).
- Monitor cost accounting and liaise with the Controlling department.
- Coordinate with Invoicing to enhance the efficiency of the Finance department.
- Act as the contact person for ERP ODOO development needs: present team-specific requirements, coordinate with ICT & developers, conduct testing, oversee implementation, and support team during changes.
- Actively participate in development/digitalization/efficiency projects.
Your profile:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Taxation / Management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as Accounting Manager in a Luxembourg-based non-financial sector company: operational management and accounting closures.
- Experience in corporate taxation.
- Advanced level proficiency in ODOO accounting software and EXCEL.
- Sense of responsibility and organizational skills.
- Rigor, strong analytical skills, proactive and solution-oriented.
- Good communication skills, team management experience, and leadership ability.
- Proficiency in French and Luxembourgish languages; German is an advantage.
