ACL and ACL Sport at the Forefront of the International Motor Show

Published on 14.11.2023

Throughout the weekend of November 10th to 12th, the International Motor Show Luxembourg experienced great success in terms of attendance, with the notable presence of ACL and ACL Sport.

After an exceptional Saturday, Sunday was marked by a massive influx of visitors to the LuxExpo The Box halls, confirming that the world of automobiles and motorcycles continues to be at the heart of public interest.

With a 200 square meter exhibit, ACL and ACL Sport captured attention. Visitors had the opportunity to experience various aspects of Luxembourgish motorsports, from karting to racing sensations, including encounters with the country's top drivers. "We managed to attract a diverse audience. The younger ones had stars in their eyes when getting into our electric kart. Then, the older ones could experience the McLaren 720S GT3 displayed in front of our stand before virtually driving in one of our two simulators for an 8-minute race on the legendary Nürburgring track. The goal was to create a link between reality and virtual," enthused Florian Brouir, Sports Director of ACL Sport, who recorded 214 simulator sessions. Notably, the holders of the three best lap times will soon be rewarded by ACL.

Another highlight was the two autograph sessions with seven Luxembourgish drivers: Dylan Pereira, Kevin Peters, Steve Fernandes, Michel Fernandes, Guillaume Bouzar, Zoé Knebler, Gil Linster, and Gary Hauser. "The public had the opportunity to meet them and spend time with our champions, perhaps even igniting a passion in some young minds," highlighted Florian Brouir.

Finally, ACL took the opportunity to remind and present the numerous benefits of becoming a member.

ACL and ACL Sport wish to thank the public for their interest throughout the International Motor Show Luxembourg and the dedication of their teams who are already thinking about the 2025 edition.
