Buying or selling a used car? The ACL Diagnostic Center tests and advises

Published on 19.02.2021

While the Autofestival boosts the sales of new vehicles, it also stimulates the second-hand vehicles market. The ACL Diagnostic Center advises motorists and ensures the safety of their cars.

The ACL helps you to identify possible technical weaknesses on a vehicle. A complete check-up informs you about the actual condition of your vehicle or the car you intend to buy or sell, or before the manufacturer warranty expires (with engine power test option and/or insertion of an advertisement on Luxauto).

Our technicians perform a wide range of special tests, ranging notably from car body to the interior equipment, including brakes, suspension, car frame and transmission, to assess the condition of the vehicle prior to it being bought or sold and produce a used vehicle inspection certificate.

The technicians at the ACL Diagnostic Center independently inspect and perform technical diagnoses on cars. The service is available not only to ACL members but also to all other motorists and those selling used cars either privately or professionally.

In addition to these tests, the ACL provides reliable and appropriate advice for its members, ensures there is an expert available to speak with them and plays a valuable role as mediator in the event of a dispute with a repair workshop, garage or insurer.

The ACL Diagnostic Center operates on an appointment basis. When it comes to your safety and that of your passengers, don't even think about it.

Select the appropriate test on our website and make an appointment. You also can contact us per phone at +352 450045-6007 or per email: dc1@acl.lu. The ACL Diagnostic Center is open from Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
