The autumn was due to be busy and the ACL, as a mobility key player, had to be there. Here is an insight at some exciting and happy days.
The Skoda Tour LuXembourg, the Mobility Week, our first Open Day: all these events gave us the opportunity to exchange with other mobility players and to meet with some great people.
We would like to share with you a few pictures of these exciting days.
The Skoda Tour LuXembourg
The ACL supported Skoda Tour LuXembourg 2021 by sponsoring safety signage for the race. In parallel, cycling events for children were held at the Skoda Tour starting point and at the finish line in collaboration with Bicycool and the Fédération du Sport Cycliste Luxembourgeois (FSCL).
ACL Open Day
On Saturday, 18
th September, the ACL opened its facilities in Bertrange to the public from 10 am to 5 pm. The club offered a mini-karting track and a demonstration of its crane truck in action in its workshops. Younger visitors had also the opportunity to climb aboard one of the road assistance vehicles.
European Mobility Week
The ACL took part in the
Move sustainably, Stay Healthy morning organised by PwC on Thursday, 16
th September from 9.30 am to 12 pm. This event was an opportunity to meet and discuss sustainable mobility solutions with local partners and stakeholders: carpooling, car sharing, active mobility, public transport, etc.
To close the week with the "Day without a car", an educational day called "Sëcherheetspexpo fir Kanner Jonker" was organised around the theme of safety and prevention in mobility. The ACL and the Maison du Cycliste were present with a stand and a school bike animation in Bissen on 22
nd September.
And don't forget your next events: the Oldtimermaart and the Schleck Gran Fondo on 25
