It's never too early to get your vehicle checked over before you hit the road for your holiday. Even though the ACL is there to assist you if you run into trouble, it’s always better to prevent any car troubles occurring and spoiling your trip, which is why the ACL Diagnostic Centre is offering a ‘Holiday check’. This inspection covers all aspects of your car that might be at risk on a long journey, such as the battery, the suspensions, the condition of the tyres and fluid levels. The staff at the Diagnostic Centre will perform a fair and objective diagnosis of your vehicle’s condition. Details in the video below (in French).
IMPORTANT NOTE We recommend having the test carried out at least 3 weeks ahead of your departure to give you enough time for any repairs that may need doing before you leave. This year we’re offering a discounted price to all ACL members interested in a holiday check, at just €29 instead of €39, from Monday 2nd May to Tuesday 31st May. This offer is valid for all cars between the ages of 5 and 15. Make an appointment with our experts at the ACL Diagnostic Center a.s.a.p.
You should also adjust the pressure of your tyres in relation to your vehicle’s load, check that the lights and horn are working properly and check your windscreen wiper fluid level. It is important to also make sure your windows are clean inside and out for a better all-round view, especially when driving at night. Please contact us on +352 450045-6007 or by e-mail at dc1@acl.lu.
Beware: risk of shortages A shortage of rental and courtesy cars is expected throughout the Europe this summer. This will therefore have a direct consequence on the availability of replacement cars and waiting times in the event of a major breakdown. We therefore strongly recommend you have your vehicle checked before departure or opt for a rental car from ACL ClubMobil now. If necessary, you can cancel your reservation at any time and without charge.
