Coronavirus: what travellers from Luxemburg need to know

Published on 24.11.2022

How to stay safe – cautionary measures and regulations.

Always find out about the current situation at the Embassies or official websites of the relevant countries before entry/transit. And the ACL and the Ministry for Foreign and European Affairs are always on hand to assist you.
Tourist travel in Europe is currently dependent on the status of the health crisis. The situation remains difficult and the authorities in individual countries may change entry conditions at any time and at short notice. ACL provides regular updates with the latest information for individual European countries.

General situation and detailed information regarding the various European countries

Attention: if you find yourself in a risk zone before your departure, you may also be banned from entering the country of destination. Precautions must also be taken when you return home.

In order to give you the most recent information, we publish the list below, updated regularly (French or German only).
All information has been carefully retrieved. Nevertheless, ACL does not guarantee its accuracy, completeness and timeliness.

ACL member trip organisation during the coronavirus pandemic

The coronavirus pandemic has had the world in its grip since more than one year and is making demands of us on a scale we’ve never seen before. A few ACL member trips have already been run, taking into account the current situation and in compliance with the health and safety regulations.

The feasibility of every individual ACL member trip is carefully assessed in consultation with our partner organisations! If the situation worsens, we and our partners will obviously take the necessary steps to cancel member trips in affected areas or adapt the programme to protect travellers. We are in regular contact with our partners and the authorities and are keeping a very close eye on developments. We can assure you that, if the situation gets worse or if health organisations re-evaluate the situation, we will immediately take action according to the latest instructions from the EU Commission or government of the specific country. We will never take any risks when it comes to health and safety or the travel experience itself.

If dates have to be cancelled, our partner organisers will inform you of the option to change your ACL member trip booking or put yourself down on the list for 2021/22.
