Many of you are motorists who also have a keen interest in cycling. Be it as an alternative means of transport to your car or a tool for parking in one of your favourite sports, more and more of you are taking to Luxembourg’s streets on your bikes, electric bikes and scooters.
The ACL would like to remind you that membership cards are issued to the individual and give you access to 24/7 assistance regardless of the means of transport you are using. Our roadside assistance service is, in fact, available not only to motorised vehicles, such as cars and motorcycles, but also when you are travelling by bike or electric bike, for example. Whether your bike wheel gets crumpled on your morning ride or your electric bike or scooter battery runs flat, you can call on the ACL’s breakdown mechanics to get you back on the road as quickly as possible. Our emergency response vehicles are fitted with a mobile electric recharging terminal and can also carry bikes, meaning that the ACL’s breakdown mechanics can intervene quickly in any distressing situation.
We recommend that you use the ACL’s eCall Mobile function should you run into trouble on the road as this will allow us to accurately pinpoint your location and therefore assist you even more quickly.
